Spinney Lodge Vets practice dates back to the early 1900's when we were the only practice in Northampton. We were situated in Derngate. We were a traditional mixed practice, where most of our clients were farmers with draught horses and farm livestock.In 1974 the practice re-located to the Kettering Road site where following extensive development became the first and only Veterinary Hospital approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons situated in Northampton.\in the early 1990's the practice opened a branch surgery at the Abbey Centre in East Hunsbury, which was followed by the purpose built Wootton Fields Veterinary Surgery opening in 2004.
